  • So Proud of my Father Alex who gained the Military Cross at Cassino 1944. I went back to Cassino 1976 and saw the Monastry and dug deep in the earth and found a lovely white stone which I gave to my Dad on my return to NZ. When he died I found his Miltary Cross and beside it was the white stone. We also have his RAP Flag riddled with Machine Gun bullets framed in our house. Love Peter.
