    Admitted to No 1 NZ Field Ambulance, 28 January 1917 (scabies); transferred to Northumberland Casualty Clearing Station, 29 January 1917; to 7th General Hospital, St Omer, 9 February 1917; discharged to duty, 28 February 1917.
    Admitted to No 2 NZ Field Ambulance, 3 March 1917 (ICT leg); discharged to duty, 9 March 1917; rejoined unit, in the field, 10 March 1917.
    Wounded in action, 17 June 1917 (gun shot wound, right leg), and admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance; transferred to No 2 Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 18 June 1917; to No 32 Stationary Hospital, Wimereux, 19 June 1917; discharged to No 1 Convalescent Depot, Boulogne, 29 June 1917; to No 3 Rest Camp, 3 July 1917; rejoined unit, in the field, 11 August 1917.
