  • Colquhoun shipped out with the 2nd Reinforcements in 1914. At some point he returned to NZ because he shipped out again with the 43rd Reinforcements on 17 August 1918. He was listed as the Officer Commanding (OC) on board the Ruahine, which transported the 43rd Reinforcements to London.

    Colquhoun had the same service number as Private William Edgar Phillips, Otago Infantry Regiment, who died of disease in 1918. AWMM
