  • Awarded the Logan Campbell shooting medal at Auckland Grammar School.

    Family note he was a law clerk at WW1 enlistment and a sniper with the Rifle Brigade

    After being wounded in the Battle of the Somme, he helped with the upkeep of ambulances at the Walton on Thames.

    Married Mara Lyford, an English ambulance driver, and started a transport business after the war.

    During WW2, Curtis served as a Captain with Army Transport in New Zealand. AWMM
