    Later appointed Commanding Officer (CO) of 487 (NZ) Squadron, Royal Air Force (RAF).

    Appointed Air Attache, Greece, 1946.

    Relinquished commission on 17 April 1947.

    Retired to Australia, where he pioneered crop spraying and advised the Australian Federal Government and various aerial agencies.
