  • First child of Heinrich and Dorothea Windleborn.

    Married Ethel Newth at Spring Grove on 4 June 1913. They had no children.

    When he enlisted in 1918, Percy gave his birth year as 1890 rather than 1885, making it appear that he was only 28.

    Returned to New Zealand on 23 July 1919.

    He died suddenly while in his rail carriage office at Waiiti station. AWMM
