  • Husband of Mary Elizabeth Donnell, who died 29 October 1998, aged 73. She is buried with Cyril.

Private Donnell was reported missing 18 May 1941, and was confirmed as a POW 1 July 1941 (his army record says "Prisoner of War. Greece."), POW number 4253. When transferred to Oflag IIIc, he was given POW number 1527; this seems to have reverted to 4253 at Oflag IIIc at a later date (possibly when Oflag IIIc was renamed Stalag 383). AWMM
