  • Samuel Harwood was the son of Samuel Edward Harwood (1861-?) and Marion Jane Harwood (nee Oswald) 1859-1917.

    His brother, 11278 Percy Duman Harwood, also served in World War I.

    He married Georgina Johnstone (1902-1947) in 1920. They had four children. AWMM
