    • Son of Frederick Walter Hodder (1846-1922) and Lydia Ann Hodder (nee Mason) (1854-1921).

      Edward Hodder married Bessie Hodder (1889-1965) on 19 March 1913 at Whangamomona. They had four children.

      Edward did not serve in WW1 as he suffered from a skin condition

      Edward Hodder worked for the Air Force in New Zealand during World War II, appointed Corporal at Rongotai 18 April 1944, and stationed at No 2 EFTS in New Plymouth. AWMM
    • He did not serve overseas in WW1 because he was draughted late in Oct 1918 and the war finished before he could be sent. Public - Lynne - Direct descendant - 11 February 2017 - family papers.
