    Date of enlistment is approximate

    After the Anglo Boer war he lived in Raugiaohia and later at Ngaruawahia

    Henry Mohr was appointed cook of 2 Battalion, Wellington Rifle Brigade in England, 1 October 1917 and served with the 4th Reserve Canterbury from 1 February 1918.

    he took leave for a week in July then reported to Codford in preparation for the return to NZ

    He left Liverpool, England, for New Zealand on 19 December 1918 on Oxfordshire

    Lived with sister Mary (Molly) in Huntly from 1940 until his death
