    Admitted to No 1 Canadian Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 2 October 1915 (pyrexia); transferred to England, 19 October 1915, and admitted to King George Hospital, Stamford Street, London, 28 October 1915 (enteritis); to Grey Towers Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 12 February 1916.
    Married Mabel Rose CUTTENDEN, Kingston, Surrey, England, 9 March 1916.
    Transferred to New Zealand Field Artillery, 4 May 1916.
    Admitted to Bulford Hospital, 20 July 1916; discharged to NZ Command Depot, Codford, 1 September 1916; marched in to Sling Camp, 22 September 1916.
