  • This is my Grand father, lived in Omokoroa Tauranga and even the road is named Andersons Lane, Grandpa never talked about the war but he was a pretty good shot with the .22. He said he was made deaf due to the war, we used to have to talk quite loud as kid and young adults but he always heard our dad his only son first time. Grandpa is in the Pyes Pa cemetery amongst other comrades in the RSA part. He had 2 children my dad James Andrew, and his sister Gwendoline Walker.
