    Absent without leave from the trenches and later from billets in Fleurbaix from 22 December 1916 - to 26 December 1916. Found guilty and sentenced to 3 years penal servitude. Sentence suspended dated February 1917. Out of bounds June 1917, awarded 14 days Field Punishment. Sentenced again and forfeited pay. Sentence suspended 27 August 1918, released from Military Prison. Entrained for the front. Killed in action 9 September 1918. AWMM
