    Appointed Temporary Company Quartermaster Sergeant whilst employed at NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 13 January 1916.

    Having completed bacteriological test is transferred to unit for duty, 5 July 1916; attached to NZ Command Depot, Codford, 6 July 1916.
