  • Arthur Day was the brother of Graham Day of Opotiki Bay, Bay of Plenty

    "Trooper A.C. Day, Auckland M.R., 13/898, died on September 29th at N.Z.G. Hospital, Brockenhurst, from wounds received on Gallipoli. He was buried at New Malden, the cortege leaving the residence of his next-of-kin, Mr. E.C. Day, Balgowan. Wreaths were sent by the High Commissioner and the N.Z.W.C.A." (Chronicles of the N.Z.E.F.
