Tell us, promptly, and we will record and preserve. “ Editor Taranaki Daily News 1984. “I had for a special pal and worked with, a wonderful chap called Nelson Davy who went with the 5th Reinforcement, and was killed on Gallipoli, so I wanted at the time to have a go at Kaiser Willie. They would not have me. I tried the Vet Corps, got accepted after a small operation, ended up in the ASC, went with the 8th Extra Reinforcement, and put in 3 years 280 odd days overseas, Egypt, France, Germany." 5/646 L.G.
