  • Andrew was my Great Uncle and in 2013 I was able to pay my respects to him at Karori Cemetery after many years of researching his Life and Times. Andrew was the Youngest Son of My Relatives Andrew Patrick O'Brien from Waterford in Ireland and Adeline (nee Jones) from The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. Andrews Mother had a mental illness and some of the 7 children in the Family were adopted out to families in Taranaki, including the Bishops, Sampson and Dover families. He farewelled another Relative at the Railway Station when he departed for overseas service in WW2. He was a treasured member of our Family. LEST WE FORGET.
    Public - Brian O'Brien - Other Relative - 27 April 2015
