    OBITUARY.
    L. FREDERICK BISHOP.
    After lingering from war injuries and gas poisoning for over six months in the Orange Hospital, L. Frederick Bishop's soul was called to the Great Beyond. He was born at Birmingham, England, 39 years ago, and had come to the Australian shores at the age of 18. He enlisted at the beginning of the Great War in the New Zealand Expeditionary forces. Later he was transferred to the Imperial Forces, where he serves with great distinction at Gallipoli, in France and at Salonica. He was at length given the rank of Major and received many military decorations. He was a man of strong personality, and he had a happy way of making numerous friend
