    • My great uncleErnest was born in Adaminaby NSW in 1896 and christened Ernest Henry WARE. On Anzac Day 2018 my niece Julie is in Belgium searching for his memorial at Buttes Cemetery while I am updating the Ware records on Monaro Pioneers having found a gallant man who chose to enlist under an assumed name for his own good reason.

I can now rest having searched to find you for some years. My thanks to all who helped in the search. Cpl G. Thorp 2/722549 Public - Gregory - Other relative - 26 April 2018 - Librarian at NZ Military Museum and others including the author of "Bloody Gallipoli"
