  • So many words that I want to say. As a mother, as a woman, as a daughter of the nation. For all that you did, regardless of your part in the campaign. How do I sum that all up into a simple sentence. I can't. Every time bugle plays, I cry. I cry for you that did not return. I cry for the family who lost, the boys that changed, for the things that happened, and for the things you all had to do. I cry that any war has to even happen. I can only give you my soul felt...thank you. And when the day comes that we meet in heaven, I won't cry, I'll embrace you for as long as you will let me. I'll remember you.
