  • The family is so very proud of you for your contribution to peace on earth. We are so lucky Mum ( your daughter ) is able to give us small bits of information of your experience over time, this enables us to get a glimpse of the life in the battlefield for you. I am making the pilgrimage this year to see some of the places you were. (Western Front) also Gallipoli the place that symbolizes the ANZAC spirit I feel very humble to be taking your medals with me with the family's blessings. Unfortunately there is still unrest in the world and there are some places that I would have liked to have gone to but are deemed dangerous at this time. I have been researching the family history and you would have been proud of us all, as we are proud of you.
