  • I am Philip Brewster's great granddaughter, his son Philip Brewster the second was my grandfather. Our family hold some paper work such as birth certificates and marriage certificates. So I knew Philip was much older than my great grandmother Rosa. I always wondered if he left a wife and family behind when he went to Samoa. I can see from the paper work he had a wife Dorothy. I would be interested to know more about my Brewster lineage and if he had children from his first marriage.

    Report
  • Philip Brewster was my grandmother's older brother. He was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire. on 24/06/1868, the third child of 13 children. He trained on a Naval sailing ship and stopped in New Zealand. He apparently ended up in Samoa.
