    Frederick lived on Hauraki Road, between Crescent Road and Rawene Road with his parents. He had had two younger siblings, Frances and Eric. (Sources: Waitemata Electoral Roll 1914, NZ Post Office Directory 1914)

    Enlisted 17 November? 1915.

    He was working for the Colonial Sugar Company (Chelsea Sugar Works) before enlistment.

    His nephew was later named Arnold Dingley in his memory
