  • Charles Dinsdale was my Great Uncle. My mother was 6 years old when Charles was killed. I have a photo of him - he was quite handsome. I know nothing about him but through this site I've found out that he served with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force when we thought he served with the British Army. This is news to the family! Only 22 years old when he died. Such a waste - when will we learn.
