  • After the War, Jock worked as a trader around the Cook Islands. On the small atoll Tongareva (Penrhyn Island) he met Teu Bosini who he later married. They had 4 children: Stuart, Margaret, Alistair and Bill.
    In 1932 Teu died. Jock died a year later in 1933.
    Their children were sent to live in New Zealand. Stuart Campbell (service number 446853) served with the Maori Battalion in WW2 and was killed in action. Alistair Te Ariki Campbell became a well known poet and writer. Public - Ella - Other relative - 19 April 2018 - Campbell, A. Island to Island (a memoir). Whitcoulls, Christchurch. 1984.
