My father, Raymond Percival Frederick DIXON spoke of his Uncle Charlie from time to time. Ray was aged 7 years when his Uncle died. On a trip in 1995 we stopped at the Waiouru Army Museum and my father asked to see any record of his Uncle's service. He was shown some information and Charlie's page in the Memorial Book.

We remember Charlie today 100 years after his death.
