    CARTER, John Hilary. (Reg. No. 12/1912 K.E.V. Gallipoli veteran WW1) On March 10, 1981 at Whangarei. Dearly loved husband of Olive Mary, loved father of Maurice & Audrey (Whangarei), Larry (Auckland), Des & Joey (Springfield), Hilary & Helen (Hamilton), Pat & John Godrey (Hikurangi), Val & Roger Jones (Maunu) and loved Poppa of his 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In his 93rd year. A service will be held at our chapel, corner Bank & Grey Sts, Whangarei at 11am tomorrow (Thursday). Funeral then leaving for Springfield Cemetery.
