    Attested for WW1 service saying he had 5 years service with Australian Royal Navy.

    Killed in a railway accident

    Name listed twice on Nominal Roll 1 with service numbers 1/519 Samoan Advance and later enlistment 8/1949. Australian naval service not verified. Next of kin details WW2 compiled from information in the Casualty lists published in the newspapers. AWMM
