      London Gazette 3 June 1919, p6918, Rec No 3427 This man has been an NCO in this Company since the 26th July 1917. He left New Zealand with the 6th Reinforcements and, except for a short period of illness, has been with the Company ever since. His services on Gallipoli, Somme in 1916, Messines, Passchendaele and in the Division’s advance from Hebuterne to Le Quesnoy have been of the greatest value. He has always, in the execution of his duties, shown total disregard for his personal safety. AWMM
