    Admitted to hospital (gastritis); transferred 31st General Hospital, Cairo, 2 June 1916; to 27th British Hospital, 3 June 1916; to 7th British Convalescent Depot, Montazah, 8 June 1916; discharged to Agowie Hall, Ghezireh, 20 June 1916. Marched out to Mounted Training Regiment, Tel el Kebir, 22 June 1916; rejoined unit, Hill 70, 12 July 1916.
