    King's Scout and Scoutmaster of St. John's Anglican Church Troop.

    A copy of Dredge's war diary, begining 20 August 1916, when he left Port Chalmers, and ending 12 October 1917, a few days before he was killed, is held in the Auckland Museum Library's manuscripts collection. [Ref. MS 99/22] AWMM
