  • PRIVATE A. DAWSON. Private Alfred Dawson, wounded in action in Flanders, is the son of Mr and Mrs Dawson, of the Neck, Stewart Island. He is 23 years of age and answered the call to the colours very promptly, enlisting on 14th August, 1914. He was born at Stewart Island and educated at the Neck.
