  • Remembering my grandfather George Valentine Dewes with love, respect and pride. You were in the Auckland Mounted riflemen serving in the middle East region of Israel. My Father is Bryan Henry Dewes your 2nd eldest son. Dad was Able Seaman who served in World War 2 in NZ Navy & British Navy. We wished we had met you grandad but you passed before we were born.   • So beautiful to see that they keep records of our descendants that served. I'm the great-grand daughter of George Valentine Dewes. My Grand father was Bryan Henry Dewes. My fiancee and I have named our 1st son after you grand-dad, eylan Paul VALENTINE Taogaga. His birthday is 8th feb 2016! how funny is that?! We will always remember you xo Love you
