Since my last contribution I have managed to make the family connection. Phillip was a cousin to my Grandfather on my fathers side, making him my 3rd cousin. My wife and I were in Auckland recently and visited All Saints Anglican Church, Howick, where there is a headstone to his parents, sister, grandfather, who was my great great grandfather.

Didn't know of Philips existence until 2 years ago. My father, also called Philip George Arnaboldi died in 2012, mum passed away in 2015. While we (myself and brother/sister) were cleaning out her unit we came across his medals/service certificate/memorial scroll/photos. I now have these mounted and framed and am trying to find out more about him. I think that he and my fathers father were cousins, but have not managed to make the link so far. He is now remembered by us, and I hope to get to Tyne Cot to see his name on the memorial wall
