    • Son of James Falconer. Brother of Percy Falconer (17/302). AWMM
    • Brother of (1) Private John Falconer - served Australian Imperial Forces : AIF Regimental service # 4184 - who was killed in action 30 August 1916 at the Somme, France. Also brother of (2) Private Percy Falconer NZEF service # 17/302 of the Wellington Infantry Regiment NZEF (survived war service and returned to New Zealand aboard 'Port Melbourne' 25 January 1919 ; And brother of (3) Private Edwin Falconer NZEF service # 73040 of the New Zealand Training Unit (Edwin did not leave New Zealand but was discharged from the NZEF on medical grounds) who died of influenza during the 1918 Influenza epidemic, at Masterton, Wairarapa.
