    • Arthur Durrant was the son of Albert Edward and Kate Hannah Durrant, of Waipiro Bay, Gisborne, New Zealand. Born in London, England.

      Died of wounds, received near Gonnchem AWMM
    • Nov 1918 - On the 24th ult. news reached here that Private Prank Durrant had died from wounds on the 29th of September, in France, Private Durrant was a member of the 16th Reinforcements, and belonged to a machine-gun section. Except for one short spell in England while wounded he had been in all the heavy engagements of the past three years, and was the surviving member of his section. Frank was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs. A. E. Durrant, of Waipiro, with whom and the Misses Durrant the greatest sympathy is felt.
