    • Brother of Corporal Francis John Earles : NZEF Service # 10/1230. Also served at Gallipoli. Corporal F.J. Earles was captured - by Turkish Forces - on 8 August 1915 at Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli, Turkey. He was interred as a POW at Bilemendik Pozanti POW Camp, Turkey (POW # 512).
