  • Remembering Harry Edwards 100 years on via my Grandfather's diary.

    The diary of William Albert Stimpson 10681, my grandfather, states for 4 November 1918 - "Moved lines forward. McFaden, Joe Ward & Boyen(?) Wounded at horse lines. Edwards died of wounds. At guns Fred Walls, Big Mac, Colin Hardy & Bill Nichol wounded. Irvine & Milliken went hospital with Flue. Lot of prisoners coming down. Teams coming in late. Up nearly all night."
