On October 9, 1970, at Cornwall Hospital (late of 1 Franklin Rd, Ponsonby), dearly loved husband of Vera, beloved father of Norman, Ellen and Clive, grandfather of Jan, Gordon and Judith and great-grandfather of Emma, Andrew and Ian; in his 90th year. At rest. A service will be held at the chapel of J Weir and Co. Ltd, 70 Ponsonby Rd, today (Monday) at 11am, funeral then leaving for Waikumete Soldier’s Lawn Cemetery.
