  • Louis George Gothard was my Great Uncle. He was the Brother of my Grandfather, Lionel Gothard and son of Mary Emmeline Gothard later remarried and became Mary Emmeline Wills I believe). The son of my Great Grandmother. The long lost Uncle of my Mother. I would really like to have information about how Louis George lived once in Australia (and more about his NZ stay too), about his wife and children if he did have any. Most of all, I would like to know about his Mother, my Great Grandmother, Mary Emmeline. If anyone could be kind enough to get in touch my email is zauberwerk02@hotmail.com I am in awe of Louis George's courage and determination in setting off to fight at such a young age and in settling thereafter in Australia.
