  • Death date is 7/8 October 1923 at Petane Hotel. Information from coroner's inquest. Death from pneumonia and syncope

  • Andrew Masson was the only brother of my mother's mother. He left Scotland about 1898 and spent some time in Canada before moving to New Zealand. This is according to information from my mother and grandmother. He died in Petane in 1923.
