  • This tribute is made in fond memory of Douglas Hamilton by his two and only grandchildren, Claire (Foster) Callahan, her husband Michael, their children Matthew and Patrick, and Louise (Foster) Finckh, her husband Geoffrey, their children Penelope and Peter, and his son-in-law Michael Foster. Douglas' only child Elaine Foster died on Anzac Day 2010, two days after paying tribute to her father at an Anzac service. Douglas and his family enjoyed many happy occasions together over his long life of 95 years.
