    Admitted to NZ Field Ambulance, 4 July 1915, and transferred to Fleet Sweeper; to Malta, and admitted to Intarfa Hospital, 13 July 1915 (gastro-enteritis); transferred to Ghain Tuffreha, 28 August 1915; embarked for Egypt, 26 September 1915, and attached to Advanced Base, Mustapha, 30 September 1915.
    Embarked for Gallipoli, 18 October 1915; rejoined unit, Mudros, 27 October 1915.
    Admitted to 16th Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 17 December 1915 (scalded foot); discharged to duty, 3 January 1916.
    Disembarked Alexandria, 10 January 1916 (general Gallipoli evacuation); rejoined Bn Details, Zeitoun, 11 january 1916.
    Transferred to NZ Field Artillery, 10 March 1916, and posted to 9th Battery.
    Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 7 April 1916.
