  • I have been doing my grandmother's Ashby family tree recently, and Alex is in it.

    Alexander David Ashby, is a 2nd great grandson of Thomas and Susannah Dale.

    They originate from Lamberhurst, Sussex, England.

    My grandmother was also an Ashby.

    Alex was born 18 Aug 1888, and died 23 6 1917. Alex is my grandmother's grandfather's Frederick Charles Ashby's 3rd cousin. His mum and dad are David Alexander Ashby 1852 - 1934.

    He was born in Beddington, Surrey, England, and died in Christchurch, NZ.

    His mum is Mary Jane Haddrell 1857 - 1935.
