Trooper T .N. Hogg, killed in action at the Dardanelles, was the third son of Mr T. A. Hogg, of Clifford Street. Gisborne. He was drafted into the Military Police at Wellington, and left with that body, being subsequently transferred to the Divisional Headquarters Train. He was a member of Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. clerical staff at the time he enlisted. He was in A Squadron Mounted Rife, and was also a member of the Gisborne Rowing Club. The advice received by his parents states that he was killed in action on May 30. He was 22 years of age.
