  • Peter Fabrin was the son of Hans P.H. and Maren J. Fabrin of South Norsewood, Napier.

    Embarked Wellington, 9 June 1917; disembarked Devonport, England, 16 August 1917, and marched in to Sling Camp.
    Proceeded overseas to France, 26 October 1917; marched in to Base Depot, Etaples, 29 October 1917.
    Admitted to 24th General Hospital, Etaples, 19 November 1917 (orchitis); transferred to 6th Convalescent Depot, Etaples, 3 December 1917; to 5th Convalescent Depot, Etaples, 8 December 1917; to Base Depot, 5 January 1918.
    Joined 1st Bn, Canterbury Infantry Regiment, in the field, 27 January 1918.
    Killed in action, 27 April 1918.

    Parents: Hans P.H. and Maren J. Fabrin, (both b. Denmark) South Norsewood, Napier. Native of Bunnythorpe AWMM
