  • Lucien’s parents were of French (Victoire Libeau) & English (Stephen Hunt) heritage and from Akaroa. Lucien went to WWI with 3 of his brothers: Wilfred, Oliver & Leslie. Lucien, Oliver and Wilfred came home but Leslie was killed at Messines Ridge.

    Lucien was in various hospitals, including #1 Field hospital (Western France), the #2 Field hospital (Western France) and the Walton-on-Thames hospital. AWMM
