  • He was the son of Thomas Oliver & Charlotte JENKINS (nee Moir). They had six children - Thomas Oliver Llewelyn (b1894), Charlotte Muriel (b1895), Henry Augustine (b1897), Mahaia Eliza Florence, Cyril Vivian (b1898) and Athelstan (b1900).

    Three brothers enlisted and served overseas during WW1. Thomas Oliver Llewelyn (3/262) enlisted on the 13th August 1914. Then both, Henry Augustine (75244) & Cyril Vivian (75243), enlisted together on the 6th March 1918.

    In 1929, he married Lillian Muriel TEYCHENNE. They had two children – Bruce and Brian. Public - Sandra - Researcher - 13 December 2018 - Waipu Museum

    JENKINS, Thomas Oliver Llewellyn (World War 1). On May 21, 1967 (suddenly), at Cornwall Hospital, dearly loved husband of Muriel, of the homestead, Ahuroa, and loved father of Bruce and Brian. He rests from his labours. A service will be held at the Methodist Church, Warkworth, at 1.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday), the funeral then leaving for the Warkworth Cemetery Public - Sandra - Researcher - 13 December 2018 - Waipu Museum
