  • I have just learned that Arthur Ross Fellowes' name is on the War Memorial and that he died in Gallipoli. I am interested to know if he is a relation of mine. I am the daughter of William Ronald Fellowes of Takaka, his father's name was Frederick. I know we had other relatives in the Golden Bay area but I do not know much about the early family history.

  • Arthur was my uncle although, unfortunately I never got the chance to meet him. He was born in Bainham, near Collingwood, Golden Bay in 1895, and was killed at Gallipoli some time between 25th April, and !st May 1915. His body was never actually found.
    Public - John Robert - Other Relative - 22 January 2015
