  • Private William C. Lambert - of the Wellington Infantry Battalion NZEF - was captured by Turkish Forces on 8 August 1915 - at Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli, Turkey.
    He was held as a POW - of the Turkish - at Hadji-Kiri, Bilemedik Station, Pozanti (POW serial # 480) until the cessation of hostilities.
